That’s where Forge & Fathom began. Not as a company, but as a shared realization among people who’d been in those trenches.

Brock Stechman and Brody Dorland spent years helping organizations grow. First through their digital agency, then as co-founders of DivvyHQ, a SaaS platform that helped global brands like Red Bull, Lowe’s, Mercedes-Benz, McDonald’s, and Aflac bring order to marketing chaos. Their experience building, scaling, and ultimately selling DivvyHQ gave them a front-row seat to how fast growth can take off… and how easily it can stall.

When DivvyHQ was acquired by Lytho, they met Doug Thede, Lytho’s CEO, a veteran operator who had spent three decades guiding and transforming growth-stage and PE-backed companies. Doug had seen the same story from a different angle: great teams, smart products, and ambitious goals struggling to find clarity in how they grow.

That shared insight became Forge & Fathom.

We’ve each led companies through the peaks and plateaus of growth: as founders, CEOs, investors, and advisors. We’ve felt that pressure to grow and the air of desperation that can accompany it. We’ve seen what accelerates progress and what quietly erodes it.
